Doolin, like the rest of Ireland is susceptible to changeable weather. In general the climate is warm and temperate, we do experience significant rainfall & even in the driest month there can be much rain.
Here are some average weather facts we collected from our historical climate data:
- On average, the warmest month is August.
- On average, the coolest month is January.
- October is the wettest month. This month should be avoided if you don’t like too much rain ?
- April is the driest month.
Our advice; expect the unexpected! Many light layers of clothing are easy to take off/put on as the weather changes quickly. Never leave the house without a lightweight, waterproof coat!
