Cois na hAbhann Doolin
Cois na hAbhann is a recently renovated home overlooking the Aille River superbly located in the centre of Doolin. A short walk to pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. An ideal base for touring The Burren, Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands.
Cois na hAbhann pronounced ‘Cush na hown’, translates to near the river. This family home dating from the 1930s is in the heart of Doolin and is within easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs with live music nightly.
Cois na hAbhann offers ensuite rooms which are contemporarily furnished and ensure a restful stay. Bedrooms are located on the ground floor for ease of access and offer a TV with international satellite channels and WiFi access is available throughout the house. Other facilities offered at Cois na hAbhann include free parking and printer access for boarding passes.
Enjoy a wonderful breakfast from continental to full Irish, including homemade brown bread and granola. Special diets can also be catered for.
Secure overnight storage for bicycles and walking equipment is available. Onward transport of luggage can be arranged for walkers. Families and small groups are welcome.
Cois na hAbhann is open from the end of January to mid-December.
Cois na hAbhann bed and breakfast is just two kilometres from Doolin Pier offering daily ferries to the Aran Islands and cliff cruises. Doolin Cave is just four kilometres while Cliffs of Moher walking trail starts 500 metres from Cois na hAbhann. The Burren National Park is also close by and Shannon Airport is less than 65 kilometres from Cois na hAbhann.
