While the warm(ish) weather is still around, and a decent stretch in the evenings, there are plenty of events to enjoy in our beautiful region! The Attic Sessions

The Attic Doolin
We are delighted to see The Attic Sessions continue into September! Tunes From Doolin proudly presents “The Attic Sessions”, a new concert series that features some of the very best musicians of Ireland, including Award-winning artists. The 60-mins concerts are acoustic and take place in the intimate, candle-lit atmosphere of The Attic at Hotel Doolin. It is a unique opportunity to experience the very best of Irish traditional music in a cozy and welcoming setting where musicians can share their magic with a small, privileged audience.

An enchanting evening of live and collaborative performances by a diverse mix of contemporary and traditional artists, all centred around the theme ‘Scaoileadh’ which conveys the idea of release or letting loose, particularly through relaxation or leisure activities enjoyed during the evening hours. Experience a blend of contemporary and traditional artists with performances spanning music, visual arts, and spoken word, each interpreting the theme in unique and captivating ways.

Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths at Doolin Harbour
Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths, established during the summer of 2018 provide one of the only fully mobile seaweed bath outfits in Ireland and maybe worldwide. With their Irish whiskey barrel baths, the hurls and their custom made heating system, they are now set up at Doolin Pier! The seaweed baths are open Thursday to Sunday in the month of September.

Doolin Cave

Trad Sessions
You will find a traditional Irish Music Session in Doolin 7 nights a week in September. Fitzpatricks, McGanns, McDermotts, Russells Bar @ Fiddle + Bow, The Meadow @ Fiddle + Bow, and Doolin Music House.
Most sessions take place in the evening after 8pm, although some venues may have earlier afternoon & evening sessions.

Fitz’s Pub
Fitz’s Pub at Hotel Doolin boasts music 7 nights a week. From 6.30pm on a Monday and from 7.30pm Tuesday to Sunday. Fitz’s Pub is open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner from 12.30pm- 3pm and 5pm- 9.30pm. Find out more on our website here.
Tunes From Doolin Sessions
The Tunes From Doolin Sessions take place every Thursday at Fitz’s Pub in Hotel Doolin at 8:30pm. These sessions are hosted by Charles Monod and feature different guest musicians each week (past guests include James Cullinan, Sorcha Costello, Derek Hickey, Diarmuid Ó Meachair, Tara Breen, Niamh Ni Charra, Yvonne Casey, Noel O’Donoghue, The Kelly Family, Alan Reid & many others). The Tunes From Doolin sessions are open sessions and visiting musicians are welcome to join in (please note it is not a beginner or slow session). This is a free event and everyone is welcome to listen and enjoy the craic of a genuine Trad Session.
