Doolin Ferry Company

Travel with Doolin’s original ferry company (EST. 1970) to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher. Join Bill O’Brien and family and travel in comfort on a journey to Ireland’s traditional past. Escape to any of the three Aran Islands; Inis Mor, Inis Meain, Inis Oirr.

Geopark

Doolin is situated within the The Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark.

Landscape Wildflowers and Wildlife

A hallmark of the beauty of the Burren is the eye-catching flora and fauna seen sprouting up from the grey limestone ground.

Limestone Pavement

The most famous and readily identifiable feature of the Burren is the ‘limestone pavement’, areas of grey flat rock broken up by crevices, called grykes by geologists, and a good example of these can be seen along the shore to the south and north of Doolin Pier.
